Central Organization for Railway Electrification(CORE)

Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE) is a unit of Indian Railways responsible for electrification of the railway network. The organisation, founded in 1979 is headquartered in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Project units operate in Ambala, Bengaluru, Chennai, Secunderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Danapur and New Jalpaiguri.

Workshop Projects Organisation (WPO)

Workshop Projects Organization (WPO), established in October 2002 has the responsibility of setting up of Production Units and Workshops on turnkey basis over Indian Railways. Its Headquarter is at Patna.
